Wool headband from the Hustadvika collection. Soft, 100 % RWS-certified merino wool. The wool is RWS-certified, with requirements for animal welfare and traceability throughout the value chain.
-
100% merino wool
Merino wool has finer wool fibres than regular wool. It therefore feels soft and comfortable directly against the skin, even for people with sensitive skin. By comparison, Norwegian wool has coarser fibres, which can more easily irritate and cause itching. Merino wool is therefore a natural first choice when you need wool clothing knitted as a base layer directly against the skin.
Our merino wool is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard. This means:
- Comprehensive animal welfare requirements – no mulesing
- Land management that protects nature and biodiversity
- Strict requirements for wages and working conditions
- Full traceability at every stage – from the farms all the way to us
-
Wash wool as little as possible. Thanks to wool's self-cleaning properties, it is often enough to air the wool clothing overnight.
For Havbris and Hustadvika: Please wash the wool garment before use, so that our fine and airy knitting technique – which is characteristic of Lanullva – settles better.
Tips for wash day- Wool detergent, preferably our gentle wool wash
- Wool programme at a maximum of 30° C
- Spin cycle maximum 400 rpm
- Do not wash Lanullva with other textiles or in an overly full machine. Please use laundry bags.
- Gently stretch the wool garment after washing, and let it dry flat for the best result
- Wool cannot withstand tumble drying or stain removers
Show your wool some love!
Wool is fantastic, but it needs care to last as long as possible. Be careful around dog claws, Velcro and firewood logs – then you can enjoy your favourite wool for a long time!Repair
We are happy to repair your Lanullva wool clothing for you. If you wish to do it yourself, we can send thread. You can find more information here. -
Wool we can stand behind
When Gunn Anne Vinje Lyngstad took over the family business, it was not only Brit's knitting method that was passed down. She also inherited her parents' fondness for animals and the wild nature of Northwestern Norway.
RWS certification
Our merino wool comes from farms in Uruguay and is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS). The standard sets requirements for animal welfare, grazing and care, and prohibits mulesing. Gunn Anne has visited merino farms in Uruguay herself.
Production
Our production countries: Norway, Spain, Lithuania, Sweden and Finland.
Yarn producer: Südwolle

Fint
Nydelig farge (bark), mjuk og fin passform. Jeg er veldig fornøyd med begge produkter
Alltid fornøyd med lanullva, men ønsker meg hvitt pannebånd
Anbefaler dette pannebåndet
Veldig bra produkter
Nice and warm. Super fit and fine Color.
Elsker fargen og passformen!
Nydelig !

WHO IS BEHIND IT
Knitted using Brit's knitting method
In 1994, Brit Vinje Lyngstad knitted a sweater with extra air in the stitches for her husband, Eilif, who came home wet and cold from work on the farm. The garment you are looking at is knitted according to the same principle.
Today, her daughter Gunn Anne and her children carry Lanullva forward from Atlanterhavsveien.
Family business from Lyngstad
Since 1994. Started by Brit and Eilif, carried on by Gunn Anne and the children.
Tested by SINTEF
Field-tested on Svalbard at minus 23 degrees in 1995.
Wool we can stand behind
