Headbands for children

Children have an innate ability to take off their hats just when it is coldest. The headband solves this in a simple way: it covers the most important areas (the ears and forehead) without overheating the top of the head, and it is comfortable enough to actually stay on.

Lanullva’s children’s headbands are knitted in soft merino wool using our airy method. The knit is comfortable against sensitive children’s skin, and the headband fits comfortably without squeezing. Many parents find that headbands are worn more than hats on spring and autumn days.

The garment works perfectly on the way to nursery school, on the sledding hill on mild days, on ski trips where the hat is taken off and put on several times, and at the playground in spring. It takes up no space in the backpack, and is simple enough for the child to take off and put on independently.

Wool smells less than synthetics and the headband rarely needs washing. Wash gently on the wool programme when needed, lay flat to dry, and it often lasts through several siblings.
