Lanullva’s men’s wool socks are knitted in merino wool using our airy method. The knit provides 30 percent more air pockets than regular wool, and these air pockets allow the sock to regulate moisture and temperature throughout the day. You do not sweat in your boot on the way up a hill, and you do not freeze at the hunting stand.
We make socks in several thicknesses: thin socks for work boots where there is little space, medium-thick socks for hunting boots and hiking boots, and thick socks for fishing boats and cold winter days. The heel and toe are often reinforced on the thicker styles, because that is where the sock wears most.
Wool smells less than synthetic fibre, often much less. You can wear the same sock for several days on a long trip without it becoming a problem, something no synthetic sock can manage. The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. At home: wool programme at 30 degrees, dry flat, and the socks will last for many seasons.
