Klassisk menswear brings together Lanullva's timeless men's garments, sweaters, cardigans and other garments made to last. We have chosen cuts and styles that do not rely on seasonal trends, and which therefore still work in the wardrobe many years after they were first purchased.
The garments are knitted in merino wool using our airy method, the same knitting principle Brit Vinje Lyngstad developed in the 90s. The extra air volume in the knit provides better temperature regulation and a feel against the skin that differs from regular wool knitwear. You do not get clammy under a shirt; you do not get cold when evening falls.
Klassisk is for those who want a wardrobe with fewer garments, each worn more often. It is not fashion-oriented, and it is not technical outdoor gear. It is everyday comfort in a real Norwegian climate, garments you put on in the morning and that work from the office building to the parking lot to dinner in the evening without changing.
Klassisk garments work best next to the skin, as this is where the wool regulates moisture and heat best. The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. Wash sparingly on the wool cycle; wool smells less than synthetics and often stays clean with just airing between wears.
