The Klassisk collection brings together Lanullva’s timeless garments, those made to be worn for many years without going out of style. The cuts are clean, the colours are calm, and the look is free from trends that come and go. That does not mean the garments are boring; it means they are chosen to last.
We knit the garments in merino wool using our airy method, the same knitting method Brit Vinje Lyngstad developed to keep her husband Eilif dry in the 1990s. The 30 percent greater air volume in the knit means that the garments warm on cold days and breathe on mild days. The result is clothing that works throughout the year, not just for one season.
Klassisk is for those who want a wardrobe in which every piece can be worn with several others, and where you stop worrying about what is “in” right now. It is everyday comfort in real Norwegian climate in its purest form: garments that meet the need without demanding attention, and that you stop comparing with what others are wearing.
The garments work best against the skin; that is where wool can deliver what it does best. The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. Wash sparingly on a wool programme, dry flat, and a good Klassisk sweater or cardigan will often last ten years or more.
