A wool suit solves the same problem for older children as for babies: the whole body covered by one garment, with no openings where cold can get in. The difference is that older children move more, put more wear on their garments, and are more critical of how things feel.
Lanullva's wool suits for children are knitted in merino wool using our airy method. The knit provides 30 percent more air pockets than regular wool knit, and these air pockets are what keep the suit warm on the sledding hill and release excess heat when the child runs. No clamminess underneath, no chills when activity slows down.
We knit the suits with durable details where the child needs them most: at the knees, elbows and waistbands. A front zipper for easy dressing and undressing, and a length that covers the whole body without being too large. The material is Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified and the wool is RWS-certified.
The wool suit is used at daycare, on family trips to the mountains, skiing and sledding. It works on its own on mild winter days, or as a warming layer under a wind jacket when the weather changes. Wash sparingly on a wool cycle, and the suit often lasts through several siblings.
