When the day is spent outdoors, hunting, on deck or in the winter mountains, wool trousers are among the most important things you can wear. The thighs make up a large area that loses heat quickly, and ordinary thin trousers do not last many hours in damp cold.
Lanullva’s men’s wool trousers are knitted in merino wool using our airy method. The garment follows your movements without stretching out of shape, and it breathes well enough that you do not become clammy during breaks. At the hunting stand, you stay warm for several hours; on the way up a steep hill, you do not sweat through the base layer.
Many also use the trousers as cabin trousers; the garment is comfortable enough to sit in an armchair in the evening, and warm enough to go out and fetch firewood without changing. On fishing trips during cool summer mornings, they work just as well as in air-dried winter weather. We have styles in several thicknesses, so you can choose according to climate and use.
The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. Wool absorbs little odour and can be worn for many days between washes. On long trips, that means fewer garments in your pack and less to worry about. At home: wool programme at 30 degrees, dry flat, and the trousers will last for many years.
