Women's caps

A wool cap meets a specific need: sun protection and a little warmth on the head at the same time. On a spring walk, it is still a little chilly, but the sun is low and dazzling. On a summer evening by the sea, it is warm enough for a T-shirt, but the evening is cool and the wind goes straight through your hair.

Lanullva's wool caps for women are knitted in soft merino wool using our airy method. The knit breathes so well that the cap does not become warm on sunny days, but provides just the right amount of warmth when the sun goes down or the wind picks up.

The brim at the front protects against both sun and light rain showers. The back of the head and ears are a little more open than with a hat, so the whole head can ventilate when you walk or cycle. Many customers use the cap as a transitional garment between hat seasons, from the end of March to the end of May, and from September to October.

Wool smells less than synthetics, and the cap rarely needs washing. Airing between uses is usually enough. When it is washed: a gentle wool cycle, lay flat to dry, and it will last for several years.
