Wool has been Norwegian men’s most important garment for as long as people have lived along this coast. Not without reason: no synthetic fibre retains its insulation as well when damp, and none absorbs as little odour as wool. It works on fishing trips, it works in the workplace, it works in the garden in autumn.
Lanullva’s men’s wardrobe is built around the world’s warmest knitting method, which Brit Vinje Lyngstad developed so that her husband Eilif would not have to come home wet and cold from farm work. The method provides 30 percent more air pockets than regular wool knitwear, and it is precisely the air pockets that make the difference between feeling clammy and feeling warm.
Here you will find base layers you put on in the morning and forget you are wearing, sweaters you can work in all day, wool jackets that work as outer layers in dry weather, and accessories such as socks, hats, mittens and neck warmers. Much is unisex and works just as well in the mountains as by the sea.

The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions.
