The Havbris Wool Top for Kids is the light layer. Thin, soft merino wool worn as the inner layer, right against the skin, outdoors and indoors all year round. On its own in the classroom, under the fleece or the snowsuit when it is cold.
The top is knitted using Brit’s knitting method – air knitted into every stitch, which keeps your child warm even when sitting still during the lunch break. Made for switching between play and rest. The method was tested by SINTEF in 1995. Wool can absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet, so you stay warm even when you stop after being active.
“Otherwise it doesn’t itch at all, and the kid stays nice and warm without getting clammy.” – Monica V., Havbris customer
- Soft merino wool that many customers tell us doesn’t itch – even right against the skin.
- As the inner layer or on its own indoors
- On the coldest days: Havbris next to the skin, Hustadvika on top
- 100% merino wool. The wool is RWS-certified, with requirements for animal welfare and traceability throughout the value chain.
- The knit is open and can catch on Velcro and twigs
- Certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

The story behind Lanullva

Grandmother’s invention
Eilif came home cold and sweaty from working on the farm at Lyngstad, on Norway's harsh north-west coast. In 1994, Brit Vinje Lyngstad invented a knitting method with air knitted into every stitch – and Eilif stopped being cold.
