Patterned Wool Crewneck Sweater, Buttercup

The patterned knit sweater is soft and comfortable, and comes in handy on colder days. It suits the cabin just as well as more formal occasions.

Knitted using Brit’s knitting method – air knitted into every stitch, which keeps you warm. Brit Vinje Lyngstad invented the method in 1994 on the family farm at Lyngstad on Norway's harsh north-west coast, because Eilif came home wet and cold from the forest and the farm.

• 100% merino wool. The wool is RWS-certified, with requirements for animal welfare and traceability throughout the value chain.
• Works well worn right against the skin.

100% merino wool

Merino wool has finer wool fibres than regular wool. It therefore feels soft and comfortable directly against the skin, even for people with sensitive skin. By comparison, Norwegian wool has coarser fibres, which can more easily irritate and cause itching. Merino wool is therefore a natural first choice when you need wool clothing knitted as a base layer directly against the skin.

Our merino wool is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard. This means:

• Comprehensive animal welfare requirements – no mulesing
• Land management that protects nature and biodiversity
• Strict requirements for wages and working conditions
• Requirements for traceability through the value chain

Wash wool as little as possible. Thanks to wool's self-cleaning properties, it is often enough to air the wool clothing overnight.

For Havbris and Hustadvika: Please wash the wool garment before use, so that our fine and airy knitting technique – which is characteristic of Lanullva – settles better.

Tips for wash day

• Wool detergent, preferably our gentle wool wash
• Wool programme at a maximum of 30° C
• Spin cycle maximum 400 rpm
• Do not wash Lanullva with other textiles or in an overly full machine. Please use laundry bags.
• Gently stretch the wool garment after washing, and let it dry flat for the best result
• Wool cannot withstand tumble drying or stain removers

Show your wool some love!
Wool is fantastic, but it needs care to last as long as possible. Be careful around dog claws, Velcro and firewood logs – then you can enjoy your favourite wool for a long time!

We are happy to repair your Lanullva wool clothing for you. If you wish to do it yourself, we can send thread. Read more about repairs.

Shipping

Flat shipping rate: EUR 5 to Europe. You always see the shipping cost at checkout before you pay.

Orders ship the same day. Delivery normally takes 2–5 working days, and you receive a tracking number by email or text message.

30-day exchange

You can exchange for another size, colour or a completely different product within 30 days. You arrange the exchange yourself in our returns portal. If you choose something more expensive, you only pay the difference – if you choose something cheaper, you get the difference back.

14-day right of withdrawal

If you change your mind, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal and get your money back to the same payment method. You pay the return shipping. If you return the whole order within the deadline, we also refund the original shipping cost.
