The health blanket is made for you if you easily get cold indoors and when sitting still. It is big enough to wrap yourself in, on the sofa or over the duvet in bed, and the knit is so stretchy that the blanket feels bigger when you use it. You’ll enjoy it all year round.
The blanket is knitted using Brit’s knitting method – air knitted into every stitch, which keeps you warm. Brit Vinje Lyngstad came up with the method in 1994 on the family farm at Lyngstad on Norway's harsh north-west coast, because Eilif came home wet and cold from the forest and the farm. We knit the blankets ourselves, at Lyngstad by the Atlantic Ocean Road.
“Just as good at the cabin as on a camping trip. Warmth in your backpack that weighs next to nothing” – geir s., Lyngstad customer
- For the sofa, bed, cabin and trips
- Soft and comfortable against the skin
- 100% merino wool
- Size: approx. 140 x 200 cm. The blanket feels bigger in use because the knit is stretchy.

The story behind Lanullva

Grandmother’s invention
Eilif came home cold and sweaty from working on the farm at Lyngstad, on Norway's harsh north-west coast. In 1994, Brit Vinje Lyngstad invented a knitting method with air knitted into every stitch – and Eilif stopped being cold.
