The Havbris wool singlet is the light layer. Thin, soft merino wool that you wear on its own in summer, or next to the skin when you dress in layers. Made to be worn right against the skin.
Knitted using Brit’s knitting method – air knitted into every stitch, which keeps you warm. Made for switching between activity and rest. The method was tested by SINTEF in 1995: the test subjects got neither too warm while working nor too cold during the breaks. Wool can absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet, so you stay warm even when you stop after being active.
“Lanullva’s wool underwear is the first wool clothing I can wear right against my skin since I got atopic eczema” – Gregar B.
- Soft merino wool that many customers tell us doesn’t itch – even right against the skin.
- On its own in summer or as the innermost layer
- On the coldest days: Havbris next to the skin, Hustadvika on top
- 100% merino wool. The wool is RWS-certified, with requirements for animal welfare and traceability throughout the value chain.

WHO IS BEHIND IT
Knitted using Brit's knitting method
In 1994, Brit Vinje Lyngstad knitted a sweater with extra air in the stitches for her husband, Eilif, who came home wet and cold from work on the farm. The garment you are looking at is knitted according to the same principle.
Today, her daughter Gunn Anne and her children carry Lanullva forward from Atlanterhavsveien.
