The Eilif Mitten is knitted from 100% Norwegian wool from sheep that graze outdoors in Hustadvika. The mittens are thick and hard-wearing, made for everyday use out in the cold, at work and on walks. The series is named after Eilif, the man who came home wet and cold from the forest and the farm at Lyngstad.
“Have used these for two winters on daily walks with the dog and there are still no holes in them.” – Birte K.
- 100% Norwegian sheep’s wool
- Logo in fish skin from spotted wolffish
- Air rather than wash. If needed: wool programme, max 30 °C.

The story behind Lanullva

Grandmother’s invention
Eilif came home cold and sweaty from working on the farm at Lyngstad. In 1994, Brit Vinje Lyngstad invented a knitting method with air knitted into every stitch – and Eilif stopped being cold.
