Wool singlets and t-shirts

Wool vests and T-shirts are the lightweight garments in the Havbris collection, and perhaps the most used. The T-shirt works on its own during summer days, as a first layer in winter, and as a lightweight garment for moderate temperatures in spring and autumn. The vest covers the stomach area on cooler days when there is no need for a full T-shirt.

We knit the garments in lightweight merino wool using our airy method, the same principle used throughout the Havbris line. The 30 percent greater air volume in the knit means that the material breathes in warm weather and warms in cooler weather. It is precisely this flexibility that makes the garments suitable for year-round use.

For travel, a wool T-shirt or vest is among the most practical things you can bring. It takes up little space, can be worn for several days before needing to be washed, and works just as well on air-conditioned flights as on sunny beaches. Many customers discover that they stop bringing cotton T-shirts on longer trips.

The garments are OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified and can be washed sparingly on a wool cycle. Airing them between uses is usually enough. A good wool T-shirt lasts for many summers.
