A classic wool sweater is a garment most men end up owning at least one of. The idea is simple: a clean, timeless knitted sweater that provides good warmth and does not look outdated after two seasons. Lanullva's classic wool sweater is built around exactly that: a timeless cut, clean knit, a garment you reach for often and stop comparing with others.

We knit the sweaters in merino wool using our airy method. The knit provides 30 percent more air pockets than regular wool knit, and that means the sweater breathes more than people expect from dense wool knit; you do not become clammy under a jacket, and you do not sweat through the sweater after an hour indoors.

The cut is simple: good length in the body and sleeves, a neck opening that sits comfortably against the collarbone without constricting. It works over a T-shirt for everyday wear, over a shirt when it is a little more formal, and as a warmer layer at the cabin and around the house in winter.

The sweater works best directly against the skin, which is where the knitting method has its full effect. The wool is RWS-certified from Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with fair working conditions. Wash sparingly on a wool cycle; wool smells less than synthetics and rarely requires washing.
