Classic wool cardigan for men

A cardigan has one practical advantage that an ordinary sweater does not: you can regulate your temperature without pulling anything over your head. Open it when you get warm, close it when you get cold. For many men, it is the simplest adaptable layer in a wardrobe.

The knit has 30 percent more air pockets than regular wool knit, and it is these air pockets that allow the cardigan to be worn both under a jacket in cold temperatures and on its own on cool summer evenings at home.

The cut is classic: good body length, sleeves that cover the wrists, and a zip that withstands being opened and closed many times a day. The neck knit is reinforced because that is where the cardigan wears the most.

The cardigan works best next to the skin, where the wool performs at its best. The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. Wash sparingly on a wool cycle, air frequently, and the cardigan will last for many years.
