Dog sweaters

A wool dog sweater gives dogs the same comfort that wool gives us: warmth without clammy moisture, protection from wind, and breathable insulation that adapts to activity. For many dogs, a good wool sweater is the difference between enjoying being outdoors and being cold outdoors.

Lanullva's dog sweaters are knitted in wool and merino wool using our airy method. The knit is dense enough to retain warmth on the back, stomach and chest, precisely the places where a short-haired dog loses heat first, and breathable enough that the dog does not overheat during activity.

The sweater is particularly suitable for dogs with short coats (whippet, vorsteh, beagle), dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors in damp weather, or older dogs whose own temperature regulation is impaired. It works on its own on mild days, or as a mid-layer under a raincoat when the weather requires it.

The wool is RWS-certified from Textile Exchange, with documented animal welfare and sustainable operations on sheep farms. Wash on a wool cycle, lay flat to dry, and a good dog sweater lasts for many seasons.
