The dog blanket

Norwegian dogs encounter the same weather as we do: wind, rain, snow, sudden freezing temperatures on a walk in March. For many dogs this is perfectly fine, but for short-haired breeds, older dogs and small breeds, the climate is often challenging. A good dog coat makes the difference between a dog enjoying the walk and starting to feel cold after ten minutes.

Lanullva's dog coats are knitted in wool and merino wool using our airy method. Wool regulates temperature naturally, providing warmth in the cold and allowing excess heat to escape when the dog runs. It is precisely this property that makes wool particularly suitable for dogs that alternate between calm walking and active play.

We design the coat with a fit that follows the dog's body without restricting movement. The knit covers the back and chest, precisely the area where the dog loses the most heat, and leaves the legs and head free. The length is designed for several sizes, and the fastenings are easy to handle with cold fingers.

The wool is RWS-certified, with responsible animal welfare all the way from the sheep to the shorn wool. Wash on a wool cycle when needed, air between uses, and the coat will last for many years.
