Men's wool sweater

A good wool top is one of the most useful garments a man can own. It covers the stomach area, back and arms, the places where heat escapes first when it is cold. And it sits closest to the skin, so it is the first to notice if you begin to sweat or feel cold.

Lanullva’s men’s wool tops are knitted in merino wool using the airy method Brit Vinje Lyngstad developed for her husband Eilif. The result is a top that warms when you stand still at the hunting stand, but does not make you wet when you walk up a steep forest hill. The 30 percent greater air volume in the knit pattern absorbs sweat before it becomes clammy moisture on the skin.

We make half zip styles that open when you get warm, and crewneck styles that disappear under your work shirt. Both types have enough length to stay under the belt all day without riding up, and sleeves that cover the wrists.

Wool smells less than synthetic fibre, often much less. You can wear the same top for several days in a row without it starting to smell. That means fewer garments in your pack on long trips, fewer washes, and a longer lifespan. The wool is RWS-certified by Textile Exchange (responsible animal welfare and full traceability), Öko-Tex Standard 100-certified, and produced in European factories with proper working conditions. Wash on a wool programme when needed, air between each use, and the top will last for many years.
