Wool blanket

Wool blankets are the most commonly used textile in a Norwegian living room, more than decorative cushion covers, more than tablecloths, more than curtains. A good blanket is used every day, and therefore becomes an investment that truly matters over time.

Lanullva wool blankets are knitted in soft merino wool using our airy method. The knit creates many small air pockets that make the blanket warm without becoming too heavy. That is the difference between a traditional wool blanket and a modern wool throw, the same material, more comfortable weight and warmth.

On the sofa in the evening, in the armchair while reading, as an extra layer on the bed in winter, on the terrace by the fire pit in autumn, at the cabin in the armchair by the fireplace. The blanket often finds its place in quiet moments, not active ones.

The material is Øko-Tex Standard 100-certified and produced in European factories with fair working conditions. Wash sparingly on a wool cycle, lay flat to dry, and the blanket will often last twenty years or more if cared for properly. It is a family textile, not a disposable decorative item.
